Faux Bois Tea Cup with White Glaze
When I hold my mug of coffee or tea, I rarely hold it by the handle. I like to feel the warms of what I am about to drink. That act inspired me to start making my mugs without handles. I call these faux bois "wooden" tea cups, but they can be used for any beverage, or even use as a pen holder! The inside is a milky white glaze while the outside is unglazed and stained to emphasize the wood grain texture.
This cup holds 12 fluid ounces.
My mugs and cups are food safe. Can be used in the microwave and dishwasher, though I don't recommend using a dishwasher due to the dulling effects of some cleaners.
