I love making bowls. Since I hand-build using soft slabs, my bowls are pieced together with seams and are never perfectly round. I'm drawn to the organic, natural feel they have, and they look great on a nice oak table filled with fruit, acorns, or left as is.
This outside texture of this bowl was created using a wood grain texture and "black" clay and then stained. The inside of the bowl is a mottled white color.
