Stop Comparing Yourself to Others

Stop Comparing Yourself to Others

In this age of social media, it is very easy to get caught up with what others are doing, how many followers they have, and the feeling they have it made...and you don't. While social media is great for meeting some people, sharing your passions, and, for a business, marketing yourself to potential new customers, it can also be emotionally draining and mess with your mind. Comparing myself to others is something I struggle with and while I know it is not helpful, I still do it. I'll find myself questioning whether my work is as good as I think...

Jack of All Trades

Jack of All Trades

"A jack of all trades is a master of none, but is often better than master of one." I have often been called a renaissance man. I do have a lot of interests and have many different skills. I stepped away to clear my head and think about how I can refocus once the new year started. I'll be honest, I didn't come to any...

New Studio...?

New Studio...?

I've been hesitant to talk much about this because I don't yet have a clear plan or timeline, but I'm in need of a new work space. As the saying goes, it's a good problem to have...but having outgrown my current studio it's still a problem. While still functional, the space is very limiting and is becoming increasingly less efficient while trying to meet deadlines and fulfill orders. There are a few issues with my current studio. For starters, it is small. About 6ft wide by 16ft long. The studio holds two work tables, a wheel, 4 shelving units for...
